Nina Ruparelia
I started my journey in sales, at a very young age, selling cookies as a
Girl Scout. As a child, I was always curious to see the décor and
architecture of the inside of a home. It was immensely exciting, again,
even at a very young age, to take in the different and individualized
décor and interiors of the homes I was so fortunately invited into.
I went to college for Physical Therapy. There was always a force, drive
and intention in me to help people in some way. I know that is my
purpose. At that time I naively believed that I could I handle a full-time
job while in college, along with being a single mother to my son,
Thomas. I soon realized that my time was spread too thin. I left college
in order to support my family. I sold cars at a car dealership and while it
was lucrative; I did not enjoy it.
I obtained my real estate license in 2005, and I finally obtained my
broker’s license in 2024. I knew I could have a great impact in people’s
lives by transitioning to real estate—given my keen eye for décor and
deep drive to help people, in any small way. It fulfills my purpose of
helping people find a home that will fit their family for years to come all
while fulfilling my appreciation for décor and architecture. The childlike
awe in me never went away. While viewing a home with me, you may
find me playing with all the faucets to make sure everything works. You
may even notice me smelling things to make sure there are no
problems. You can even find me on a sidewalk wondering what the
inside of a home looks like. I have a very keen eye for all of the details,
nurtured all from the time I was a young child.
I love architecture and interior design—it is truly my passion. My
favorite store is Lowes, and I get lost for hours in there. If I do not
answer my phone, it’s most likely that I am with a client or I am lost in
Lowes.
The best part of my career is being a part of the transition from a house
into a home.
